Vacuum Glove Box Systems
DESCRIPTION: The vacuum glove box system can be used for handling(i) a solid, powder, or a liquid which is unstable in the air, (ii) a radioactive substance and (iii) a very toxic substance. After forcibly evacuated in a short period of time by a vacuum pump, the system inside is hermetically filled with predetermined inert gas (N2, Ar, He, dry air or the like) up to a normal pressure. Operations can be executed through the gloves. A specimen is put in and out through the antechamber. The attachment of a gas recycling purification system makes it possible to maintain the system inside at a highly pure inert gas atmosphere for a long period of time.
Features:
- Both the main body and the antechamber can be evacuated, resulting in rapid gas exchange and high reliability.
- The sight window is large and the window glass can readily be attached and removed, enabling a specimen to be put in and out through the sight window.
- At the side of the main body, the antechamber has a sliding door, enabling the main body inside to be effectively utilized.
- The antechamber has a slide table, enabling a specimen to be readily put in and out.
- The pressure in the main body can be maintained constant by an automatic inner pressure regulator (optional).
- When a special glove port (patent pending) is used, a damaged glove can be exchanged without the glove box inside atmosphere injured (optional).

- Antechamber : 6.65 Pa (5 x 10^-2 Torr) or less

Automatic inner pressure regulator : Equipped with a foot switch (optional)
